Listed below is some helpful information for anyone that may need help in the following areas.  I have forms and pamphlets available for SHIBA and Reduction on Property Taxes for seniors and will be discussing more about these services during our February Fellowship.

SHIBA
Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors offers free unbiased education and advice on health care coverage.

Planning Ahead
There is help designed for seniors called the Seniors Rights Assistance (206-448-5720) that offers free forms and helps you clarify what decisions you need to make regarding your will.  General information and forms are available online at www.washingtonlawhelp.org.  In addition they offer free legal clinics where an attorney can review your forms to ensure your desired intentions are clearly stated.  The King County Bar Association sponsors free legal clinics throughout the county.  For more information call (206) 267-7070.

Reduction in Property Taxes for Seniors and Disabled Persons
The county offers seniors reduced property taxes if you qualify and meet the requirements of all taxable and non taxable income with a maximum amount of $35,000.
