Infant Baptisms

Parents who wish to have their child baptized at St. Alphonsus must participate in a preparation class.  Adults that are interested in becoming Catholic follow a different route which is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). (More)

Confirmation

St. Alphonsus offers Confirmation preparation to the young people of the parish (usually juniors and seniors in high school) every year in cooperation with Christ the King Parish.  (More)

First Eucharist/First Confession


Our classes for children (and parents) who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time meet beginning in the fall of the year.  Children must be prepared for first reconciliation before first Eucharist.  (More)

Marriage

To be married in St. Alphonsus Parish one of the couple must be registered and attending Mass regularly.  A minimum of 6 months prior to the wedding date, the couple must contact the Priest Administrator personally to discuss the date and wedding preparation requirements. (More)

 

Anointing of the Sick

The sacrament of the Sick, or Anointing, is for those with serious illnesses or injuries, or who are quite elderly.  It is not restricted at all to the dying.  If a family member or friend of any age is in the hospital, you need to notify the Church because most hospitals do not do this.  (More)
